As the night falls down
It’s like it all went wrong
The car trip was so long, no sound except this song
I have to breathe out

I guess you have no clue
‘bout what I dive into

What it’s all about

Maybe we’ll have a beer or two
We’ll talk and laugh, I’ll stare at you
Your ideas always feel so new

There’s so much I’d like to tell you
I need to know. How should I do ?
An exercise I’m not used to
I shouldn’t hide that I love you


I’ve seen so much into your eyes except that look you sang about
So as usual I improvise, keep ignoring ‘till it breaks out
I looked for it,
there’s no logic

Thinking, my inner voice is yours
I keep failing closing the doors
It drags me down, you lift me up
Then I keep failing giving up


These fingers cuddling your neck
Strangled me in less than a sec
A part of real being exhumed
Turned a ‘lil doubt into a wound

This could have been the end of all
Like the last time I took this road
Time is counted in cigarettes

I’m sorry but you count for me
I’ll keep trying to be worthy
I’ll show you places you can’t see
